England and Australia concluded their three-match T20I series by playing each match to an even draw, drawing 1-1 after all three were completed.

ENG vs AUS T20I : Australia and England’s final T20I match was postponed due to the torrential rainfall in Manchester and failed even to make it past the toss stage due to heavy downpour. Without playing out its conclusion, Australia and England concluded their series tied at 1-1 as both matches ended without taking place.

On September 11 in Southampton, Australia claimed victory and took an early 1-0 lead in their T20I series against England. England made an incredible comeback however in their next match played on September 13 in Cardiff by defeating Australia by 3 wickets to even out the series 1-1; unfortunately due to rain-affected conditions neither team were able to claim victory, leading them all the way back down into a draw situation with Travis Head taking on Mitchell Marsh as Australia captain for that match-up instead.

Follow The 5-Match ODI Series Starting April 9
Australia and England will now engage in a five-match One Day International series following the draw of T20I series, starting September 19. The opening game is set for September 19, with additional matches taking place September 21, 24, 27 and 29. Jos Buttler has unfortunately had to miss some ODI matches due to injury; thus Harry Brook has been appointed stand-in captain; in Buttler’s absence Liam Livingstone will join Harry Brook’s ODI squad as captain-stand in.
This one-day international series promises to be an intense contest between two cricketing giants; fans are anticipating high-calibre performances on either side.
