Key Insights into the India Spin Strategy for the First Test
Karthik responded in the recent episode of Cricbuzz’s “Haseeb with DK” when asked to discuss India’s likely playing XI and suggested they may begin on fast pitches for their initial match against Bangladesh, likely featuring Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja as spinners; because India will soon face Australia in Test series later in 2018, team management may opt for two spinners and three fast bowlers instead of including another third spinner in their starting XI.
