Jimmy Carter, United States 39th President Died at 100

Former President Jimmy Carter Died Sunday. His son Confirmed that his father died at his home about 3:45 PM. Carter was in home hospice care in Georgia in February 2023 . He lived longer than any other U.S President.

After Single Term Carter Left the office while focusing on peace in the middle east. But the Iran Hostage Crisis long shadowed his presidency. His reputation soared due to his wife Rosalynn Carter’s work at the Carter Center in Atlanta.

Jimmy Carter born on Oct. 1, 1924 , He was the first child out of four children of Earl Carter ( A Businessman and Farmer) and Lillian Gordy Carter ( Registered Nurse).

He was appointed as a US Naval Academy. He Graduated and Join the Navy submarine where he worked as Rickover’s Boy for seven years. 

His Father was a businessman and farmer and he was an important personality in the Plains Community and died due to cancer. Carter Left the Navy and he and his wife Rosalynn with family return to Georgia in 1953 to take over the farming business of Family..

In 1970 he was elected as the Governor and served a successful term. In 1976 November he became the president by defeating Republican President Gerald Ford.

For his Inauguration, President Broke the tradition. Instead of riding in Limousine. He , First lady Rosalynn and his daughter Amy walked Down to Pennsylvania Avenue , hand-in-hand, greeting the crowd. 

Carter’s Key achievements included championing human rights, expansions of national park and restoring the public trust after the Watergate Crisis, and the historic Camp David Accord which bring peace between Egypt and Israel
